This is a really beautiful little cottage - clean and homely and so up to date with all the digital provision from getting in - l ovely and easy not fiddling with tiny numbers! - to heating settings, and appliances. Its quiet in an older part of the town, near lovely walk to the river - and comfortable for evenings in.

Merci Simon.

From booking to departure Simon was a fantastic host, communication and information was excellent, the property itself is wonderful, homely, clean, well appointed and in an excellent position to walk into the centre in a few minutes. We had a super stay and highly recommend to other guests.

A beautiful cottage, so centrally located you won't believe the ease! All the interior decor was beautifully tasteful and chic. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooking, the bed linen is gorgeous and the information provided is first class. The parking is super convenient too, and being able to drive up to the cottage to briefly unload is a real plus too. A first class stay - thank you Simon and Philippa!

I fell in love with Canterbury all over again here. The space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with local artwork and a perfect kitchen which was a big plus as my husband and I love to cook! It’s about a 2 min walk to high street with tons of restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral. We were also able to explore the nearby coast and get the amazing Whitstable oysters + see the cliffs of Dover, which was wonderful even in February! Local recommendations : the Cornish bakery for english muffins and pastries, The Cherry Tree (local bar with a friendly young crowd), walks along the river Stour, The Goods Shed, and The Old Weaver’s House for a hearty Sunday roast. The host also has some great recommendations and was available to answer all questions we had. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, it’s just perfect!
